Barbecue Freaks.com Helps Out At Berks BBQ Bash!

So last week I helped out my new friends George and Josh from the Back Porch Cooking team during the Berks County BBQ Bash last weekend.

While we didn’t take home any of the hardware I did have a great time despite the 95+ temperatures.

One of the great things about attending barbecue competitions is all the people you meet. Its so easy to pick up tips and tricks just by listening and watching what the other competitors are doing and saying.

Matt from Smokey Bear BBQ is one such person. I learned a ton from Matt over the day and a half. Not only does Matt have a ton of BBQ knowledge and walk away with a Chicken Trophy, he also has one of the coolest smokers I’ve ever seen.
